Poem 20/30 A moon poem

Silver Sliver
The slender moon,
leaned and stretched provocatively
making the most of her figure.
The clear sky is her stage,
constellations her backdrop,
a show to shame burlesque her aim.
She strikes a pose,
holds it until she is sure
every eye is on her
before the slightest nod
to let you know it’s almost time
and she winks.
